How we work

We convert laboratory logs and registers into electronic records and connect requests, equipment information and report preparation. We discuss equipment verification deadlines and reminders so that the system reflects your laboratory’s workflow.

What to prepare for a consultation

We agree on the digitalisation stages and estimated schedule after reviewing your forms and workflow.

How we introduce electronic laboratory logs

  1. Review how requests and samples move through the laboratory, required records, responsible staff and current report forms.
  2. Define register fields, numbering rules, links to equipment and data checks before a document is issued.
  3. Configure the agreed logs, Word/PDF templates and reminders; review the output with staff using anonymised examples.
  4. Plan record migration and a phased launch. Agree on access, backups and the response to a detected error.

Laboratory digitalisation costs and timing

The estimate depends on the number of logs and templates, the condition of source data, staff roles and required exchange with other systems. You can start with one process, test it in practice and expand the solution later. Archive migration and non-standard calculations are assessed separately.

Electronic laboratory record questions

Can existing Excel logs be imported?

We define migration rules after checking the structure and quality of the records. Duplicates, empty fields and inconsistent labels need attention before import; the result is checked against the source log.

Does an equipment verification reminder replace an equipment check?

No. A reminder helps track entered dates but does not establish fitness for use. The laboratory remains responsible for current records, completing equipment verification and deciding whether equipment can be used.

Does an electronic system itself secure accreditation?

No. It helps organise records and prepare documents. Methods, result validity, staff competence and compliance with procedures require separate assessment and cannot be replaced by software.
