QMS documentation and ISO preparation

We help connect QMS documentation to the way your organisation works: describing procedures and preparing record forms, logs and registers. For internal audit preparation, we review which records demonstrate that procedures are followed and where improvements are needed.

Information needed to review your system

We clarify the document list, stages and estimated schedule after reviewing your existing system.

How we work on QMS documents

  1. Clarify the activities, preparation goals and applicable standards: management system requirements and laboratory competence requirements cannot be addressed with one generic template set.
  2. Compare actual processes with current procedures and records, identifying missing or duplicate documents.
  3. Agree on forms, logs, registers, responsibilities and record-keeping arrangements.
  4. Review completed examples and readiness for internal audit, then agree on further improvements.

QMS preparation costs and timing

The scope depends on the number of processes and departments, selected standards and the readiness of documents and records. Improving an existing system differs from starting from scratch. After reviewing materials, we agree on the document list, stages and cost; we do not promise a fixed deadline without an assessment.

Questions about QMS and ISO

Can we retain our current forms and procedures?

Yes. We start with your existing materials and retain what reflects actual work. We identify what needs updating, combining or extending rather than replacing every document unnecessarily.

How does ISO 9001 preparation differ from ISO/IEC 17025?

They address different needs: an organisation’s quality management system and the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. We clarify your activities and the relevant standard before defining the preparation scope.

Do you issue an ISO certificate after preparing the documents?

This service covers documentation and consultancy support. It does not replace independent assessment or constitute certification or accreditation. Arrangements for any subsequent assessment are discussed separately.
